FRONT DESIGN

The newly-designed crest grille is framed by the iconic Genesis quad lamps that shape the distinctive two-line design that distinguishes all Genesis models.

REAR DESIGN

The unique rear of the electrified G80 curves in three dimensions for both aerodynamic efficiency and dynamic presence.

SIDE PROFILE

The parabolic lines that define the side profile are a Genesis characteristic. Here they give an elegant dynamism to the classic saloon body shape.

EXTERIOR

MATIRA BLUE COLOR

Named after the beautiful Matira Beach in the South Pacific Ocean, Matira Blue contains a special pigment, so the colour varies depending on the angle of view. Just like the sea, the colour can change with the light from cobalt blue to emerald blue or turquoise.

G-MATRIX PATTERNED GRILLE

The exclusive Genesis G-Matrix pattern applied to the front grille is inverted to distinguish the electric vehicle model.

HIDDEN CHARGING DOOR

The charging door is discreetly located in the upper left area of the grille and is invisible when closed. Inside, the two-line chrome accents create a sense of unity with the front lights.

The exclusive 19" dark metal grey turbine wheels are designed to be as aerodynamically efficient as possible.

INTERIOR

RECYCLED "FORGED WOOD" TRIM

Birch, recycled from furniture making, is used in the dashboard, door and console for a calm, natural environment.

ECO-FRIENDLY TANNED NAPPA LEATHER

The optional luxurious pure Nappa leather is coloured with an eco-friendly process that uses pine natural dye and linseed oil.

From advanced driver assistance systems to passenger protection features, the Electrified G80 uses the latest technology to help you arrive at your destination relaxed.

DRIVING SAFETY

LANE FOLLOWING ASSIST AND LANE KEEPING ASSIST

To make long journeys easier, these two systems use the front camera to help keep your Electrified G80 centred in the lane and gently steer it back if it drifts out.

HIGHWAY DRIVING ASSIST

This feature helps to keep a safe distance and speed from the car in front, using the front view camera, radar sensors and navigation data. It also helps to change lane automatically (over a certain speed), simply by holding the steering wheel and moving the indicator stalk.

NAVIGATION-BASED SMART CRUISE CONTROL

When driving on a motorway with smart cruise control, this system uses navigation data to analyse the road ahead and check that your cruising speed is appropriate. Say there is a sharp bend up ahead – to keep your speed within safe limits it will automatically decelerate, reaccelerating once it is safe to do so.

BLIND SPOT SAFETY

BLIND SPOT VIEW MONITOR

To increase safety when the driver indicates to turn left or right, an additional view of the Electrified G80's blind spot is shown on the main dash display.

BLIND SPOT COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST

When changing lanes or leaving a parking space, this system alerts you if there is a hazard in your blind spot. To avoid an impact, it either safely guides you back (when changing lane) or applies the brakes (when leaving a parking spot).

HAZARD SAFETY

FORWARD COLLISION-AVOIDANCE

This system detects potential hazards like pedestrians, cyclists, or other vehicles. To help avoid them and keep other road users safe, it either steers away (if there is space) or applies the brakes.

REVERSE PARKING COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST

When reversing, sensors alert the driver to potential hazards to the rear. If the driver takes no action, the system automatically applies the brakes.

OCCUPANT SAFETY

FORWARD ATTENTION WARNING

If the driver's eyes are not on the road (due to tiredness or distraction), the system displays an alert and sounds a warning.

SAFE EXIT ASSIST

When the Electrified G80 is stopped and an approaching vehicle is detected from behind, if a passenger tries to open a rear door, the door will stay locked until it is safe to get out.

PARKING SAFETY

SURROUND VIEW MONITOR

The driver has a 360-degree view thanks to cameras on each corner. This makes parking (and leaving) in tight spaces easier and safer.

INTELLIGENT FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM

Use your full beams without dazzling other vehicles. The individually-controlled headlight LEDs automatically dim when they detect other traffic both ahead and oncoming.

REAR GUIDE LAMPS

To alert other vehicles and pedestrians when reversing, the LED rear guide lamps project onto the road for increased presence.

PARKING SAFETY

REMOTE SMART PARKING ASSIST

This system lets you remotely park in or leave a tight space simply by pressing the button on the key fob. Activated from outside the vehicle, it works for both parallel and perpendicular parking.

The ergo-motion seat has seven air cells that increase side support according to the driving mode or vehicle speed. For ultimate comfort on longer journeys, the air cells provide a massage function.

22 MIN ULTRA-FAST CHARGE

It takes just 22 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% with 800 V ultra-fast charging¹. With 11 kW standard AC charging², you can charge from 10% to 100% in 7 hrs 33 mins.

323 MILES RANGE

The maximum range per charge is 323 miles³ including motorway, rural and urban driving scenarios.

VEHICLE TO LOAD

The Electrified G80's bidirectional onboard charger can be used to power electrical appliances and other electric vehicles (230 V).

SOLAR ROOF

Solar panels in the roof charge the high-voltage and low-voltage batteries to extend the vehicle’s range.

To save as much energy as possible while driving, the system automatically adjusts the amount of regenerative braking depending on the road ahead.

PREVIEW ELECTRONIC CONTROL SUSPENSION

The adaptive suspension with Preview (ECS) uses the camera to detect upcoming bumps or potholes in the road, then adjusts the damping force for a comfortable, safe ride.

TAILORED DRIVING MODES

Choose your driving mode, from Comfort, with soft and stable braking, or Sport, with quick response and a lively, linear braking sensation.

PERFORMANCE WITHOUT THE NOISE

ROAD ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL

To overcome tiring road roar, out-of-phase sound is created to effectively cancel out the unwanted noise. This keeps the interior quieter and the driver more alert.¹
