FRONT DESIGN

The front of the G70 makes a real statement. The bold crest grille echoing the Genesis emblem creates a continuity of design. Quad lamps are set slightly higher giving the G70 a real sense of dynamism and athletic purpose. When you see this coming into your rear view mirror, it will command your attention.

REAR DESIGN

The attention-grabbing Quad Lamps continue the two line design signature across the rear of the G70. The Genesis brand identity is distinct and clearly displayed across the minimalist upper section. Viewed from the rear, it creates a dramatic and bold appearance.

SIDE PROFILE

The two line design is reflected in the side air vents providing a clean, aero-dynamic look. A parabolic line that runs down the side creates a feeling of sleek, feline grace. The elegant dynamism of the G70 will doubtless attract many an admiring glance.

A real stand-out feature of the G70, the crest grille, is positioned lower than the Quad Lamps, giving a look of real purpose. An extreme ratio accentuates the V-shape. This tells you all you need to know about the G70s sporting prowess.

The Genesis signature Quad Lamps emphasise the G70's design lineage. Super slim LEDs reinforce the high-tech image.

REAR DIFFUSER AND DUAL EXHAUST TIPS

The G70's design accentuates its sporting credentials. From the parabolic line sweeping gracefully down its side to the two-line signature Quad Lights; it all says that this is a dynamic, performance-led driver's car.

From the exclusively developed dark chrome daylight opening (DLO) molding, the front radiator grille surround and dark tinted mesh to the 19-inch sport wheels reflecting the G-Matrix pattern design and exclusive red Brembo brake calipers – the G70 Sport is driving dynamism brought to life.

SAFETY

The latest technology brings new levels of driving safety.

INTELLIGENT FRONT-LIGHTING SYSTEM

The Intelligent Front-Lighting System (IFS) allows the driver to travel in the vehicle with a high beam without the risk of glaring oncoming traffic or any preceding vehicles. This function is achieved using LEDs with individual electronic controls which are turned up or dimmed down as required.

10-AIRBAG SYSTEM

Centre side airbags have been implemented in the front seats to prevent injuries that may arise in side collisions. A total of ten airbags further protect all vehicle occupants. This includes advanced airbags for the driver and front passenger seats that detect the presence of a passenger and the severity of a collision to control deployment, as well as side and curtain airbags for both the front and rear, and a driver's knee airbag.

SAFETY FEATURES

FORWARD COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (FCA, JUNCTION TURNING)

The G70 warns and automatically assists in braking if the preceding vehicle suddenly slows or if there is a high risk of a front-end collision. Braking assistance is also applied when a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle is detected when turning left at an intersection.

BLIND-SPOT COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (BCA)

Acts as another pair of eyes. If a risk of collision at the rear is detected, this system warns the driver. When leaving a parallel-parked position, it detects the risk of collision at the rear and automatically assists in braking.

REAR CROSS-TRAFFIC COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (RCCA)

RCCA warns the driver of approaching traffic from the left and right sides of the vehicle during reverse manoeuvres. Even after the warning, if necessary, it applies emergency braking to prevent a collision.

DRIVING TECHNOLOGY

HIGHWAY DRIVING ASSIST (HDA)

Based on the distance from a leading vehicle on motorways, and utilizing lane information and navigation data, the HDA assists the driver to control the driving speed, to maintain distance from other vehicles, and to prevent the vehicle from moving out of its lane.

DRIVING CONVENIENCE / SAFE PARKING

SAFE EXIT WARNING (SEW)

The feature sounds an alert when traffic is detected from behind when a passenger opens a door to exit from the vehicle.

REAR GUIDE LAMP

When the vehicle is backing up, the LED rear guide lamp projects light onto the road, alarming other vehicles and pedestrians to prevent accidents.

SURROUND VIEW MONITOR (SVM)

The Surround View Monitor provides real-time surrounding views of the vehicle for safer parking.

This is a privacy protection feature that limits access to the users’ personal information when using a personal driver or parking service.¹

VOICE RECOGNITION SYSTEM

Convenience is doubled by allowing the driver to control the air conditioner, window, sunroof, and boot lid using voice commands.²

WIRELESS SMARTPHONE CHARGER

Charge your phone wirelessly by simply putting it on a built-in charging pad. If you leave the car with the smartphone still inside, an alert is made.

LEXICON 15-SPEAKER SYSTEM

Experience exceptional sound with 15 Lexicon speakers and Quantum Logic Surround technology. Optimally positioned for the best stereophonic sound, the speakers are paired with stainless steel grilles for a crisp and clear projection. 12.3" 3D CLUSTER

A 3D cluster with a large high-definition TFT LCD boasts a distinctive design while providing a variety of content depending on drive modes, such as the new Sport + mode. The cluster recognizes the driver’s eye trajectory with its built-in cameras and offers a vivid 3D screen that can be seen from every angle, without the need for special glasses.

A high-efficiency turbocharger, variable oil pump, and reinforced noise absorption ensure stable power, outstanding fuel economy, and the all-important cabin silence.

2.0 TURBO GASOLINE ENGINE²

A low-to-mid-speed twin-scroll turbocharger, Variable Charge Motion and continuously operating VCM generates high torque even at low speeds. Balances drivability and silence to maximize the driving pleasure.
