SAFETY FEATURES

10 AIRBAG SYSTEM

The ten airbags will help protect everyone in the G80, with ten airbags including the innovative new front-centre airbag that helps prevent collisions between the driver and front passenger.

INTELLIGENT FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM

Safely light your way and avoid dazzling other drivers. Intelligent lighting controls the Matrix Beam LEDs in the G80's four high beam lights.

ADVANCED SAFETY FEATURES

SAFE EXIT ASSIST

To protect rear passengers once stopped, the radar detects vehicles approaching from the blind spot and activates child locks on rear seats. When unlocked, the driver is reminded to help passengers to get out safely.

REVERSE PARKING COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (PCA)

When reversing at a low speed, if your G80 detects pedestrians or objects, it warns you and applies the brakes to minimise the risk of collision.

BLIND-SPOT COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (BCA)

Acts as another pair of eyes. If a risk of collision at the rear is detected, this system warns the driver. When leaving a parallel-parked position, it detects the risk of collision at the rear and automatically assists in braking.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC COLLISION AVOIDANCE ASSIST (RCCA)

When you are reversing, if the system detects a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle a warning will be displayed along with a beeping sound. If the risk increases after the initial alert, the system will automatically initiate braking.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE

JUNCTION TURNING

While driving through an intersection if there is a risk of collision with oncoming vehicles from the left or right, FCA automatically assists with emergency braking.

JUNCTION CROSSING

If there is a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle while turning left at an intersection, the system automatically assists with emergency braking.

EVASIVE STEERING ASSIST (EVA)

While driving, if there is a risk of collision with a pedestrian, partially in the vehicle's intended path, the system automatically assists with avoidance steering.

DRIVING TECHNOLOGY

On motorways, when changing lanes or taking a corner, the G80's driving technology is there to help.

ADVANCED DRIVING ASSISTANCE

HIGHWAY DRIVING ASSIST II

On the motorway, HDA-II calculates the distance to the car ahead to maintain the current stable driving status. If another car cuts in or drifts too close, HDA-II will quickly and safely help adjust your position.

MAP BASED SMART CRUISE CONTROL

The system helps drive at a safe speed on the highway using navigation.
