EXTERIOR

FRONT DESIGN

From the front you notice the distinctive clamshell bonnet above the iconic Genesis quad lamps and crest grille. The lights form the distinctive two-line design that distiguishes all Genesis models. The GV60's crest grille sits wider and lower to emphasise its dynamic performance.

REAR DESIGN

The GV60's silhouette is streamlined from the bonnet to the distinctive rear spoiler. The bold rear fender and wheel arches shape create a purposeful stance that emphasises the vehicle’s performance. The finishing touch is the continuation of the two-line design through the rear lights.

SIDE PROFILE

From the side the body is sleek and smooth. The wheels are placed to the corners of the GV60, planting it to the ground, enhancing its athletic profile. There are subtle details everywhere, like the distinctive V shape in the chrome Day Light Opening (DLO). Called the 'Volt', it symbolises electricity and energy and is unique to the all-electric GV60.

EXTERIOR

GENESIS EMBLEM

The emblem embodies the philosophy of Genesis, combining performance with luxury. The logo is finished with a detailed Guilloche pattern¹ - this kind of finishing is typical for high end luxury watches.

CLAMSHELL BONNET

The GV60 is the first Genesis to feature a clamshell bonnet. This single-panel design removes the gap between the bonnet and front fenders to increase aerodynamic efficiency.

EXTERIOR

HIDDEN EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLES

The handles sit flush with the door to keep the body panels as smooth as possible. They automatically pop up when the driver either approaches with their smart key or touches the handle.

INTERIOR

Thanks to the unique electric vehicle layout, the GV60 has a flat floor and spacious cabin that makes the interior feel light and calm. The interior is the perfect example of our 'Beauty of White Space' design ethos. This sense of space is further enhanced by the use of unique "floating" architecture.

CRYSTAL SPHERE

The Crystal Sphere is not only distinctive but also a physical connection between the driver and the GV60. When the GV60 is turned off, the Crystal Sphere is part of the mood lighting, enhancing the interior ambience. When the car is ready to drive the sphere rotates 180˚ to reveal the Shift By Wire controller.

INTERIOR DETAILS

FLOATING CONSOLE

To further increase the sense of openness, the "floating" console, housing the Crystal Sphere, is designed to appear as if hovering in the air.

NEXT GENERATION
INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM

The connected car Integrated Cockpit connects the dashboard instruments and navigation into a panoramic display. This makes it easier for the driver to quickly see important information at a glance.

ECO-FRIENDLY AND RECYCLED MATERIALS

Eco-friendly materials make the GV60 more sustainable. The fabric we use is made of up to 15% recycled PET and nylon yarn and up to 15% of our eco-friendly leather is made from polymers extracted from natural products such as corn.

DRIVING TECHNOLOGY

HIGHWAY DRIVING ASSIST

This feature helps to keep a safe distance and speed from the car in front, using the front view camera, radar sensors and navigation data. Lane Changing Assist is also included to help change lanes automatically (over a certain speed), simply by holding the steering wheel and moving the indicator stalk.

NAVIGATION-BASED SMART
CRUISE CONTROL

The GV60 uses navigation data to analyse the road ahead and check that your cruising speed is appropriate. Say there is a sharp bend up ahead, to keep your speed within safe limits it will automatically decelerate, reaccelerating once it is safe to do so.

SAFE DRIVING FEATURES

FORWARD COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST

This system is designed to detect potential hazards like pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. It assists the driver’s steering and will apply the brakes to avoid incidents. The GV60 will also automatically apply the brakes if a side hazard is detected at an intersection.

BLIND-SPOT COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST

This system is designed to detect unseen hazards in your rear blind spot when changing lanes or leaving a parallel parking space. For leaving the parking you can select whether the system either alerts you or alerts you and then automatically applies the brakes if an incident is imminent.

BLIND-SPOT VIEW MONITOR

To increase safety when the driver indicates to turn left or right, an additional view of the GV60's blind spot is shown on the main dash display.

SAFE DRIVING FEATURES

MULTI-COLLISION BRAKE

This feature is to prevent secondary accidents. If the airbags deploy after an impact, the system immediately checks whether the brakes are being used and if not, applies them.

REAR-CROSS TRAFFIC COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST

When reversing, sensors alert the driver to potential hazards on both sides. If no action is taken by the driver, the system automatically assists by braking.

REAR GUIDE LAMPS

To alert other vehicles and pedestrians when reversing, the LED rear guide lamps project onto the road for increased presence.

SAFE DRIVING FEATURES

INTELLIGENT FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM

The GV60's individually-controlled headlight LEDs can be brightened or dimmed as required. The driver can now use high beams without the risk of dazzling either oncoming vehicles or vehicles ahead.

SAFE EXIT ASSIST

If the GV60 is stopped and it detects a vehicle approaching from the rear, the rear door is automatically locked.

REAR OCCUPANT ALERT

To prevent infants or animals being left in the vehicle, the system uses radar to detect minute movements and alerts you before you leave the vehicle.

PARKING ASSISTANCE

REMOTE SMART PARKING ASSIST

This system lets you remotely park in, or leave, a tight space simply by pressing the button on the key fob. Activated from outside the vehicle, it works for both parallel and perpendicular parking.

SURROUND VIEW MONITOR

The driver has a 360-degree view around the GV60 thanks to cameras on each corner. This makes it easier and safer to park in (and leave) tight spaces.

The GV60 is the first Genesis to feature Connected Car Integrated Cockpit, the next-generation infotainment system that provides ultimate convenience and usability. Connected Car Integrated Cockpit seamlessly links the instrument dash and navigation screen into a panoramic display that shares all content with the Head-Up-Display.

SOUND SYSTEM

BANG & OLUFSEN 17-SPEAKER SYSTEM

A premium 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system has been custom-designed for the GV60 to provide a subtle but rich, high-quality sound. With a tap of the finger, using Bang & Olufsen’s dedicated sound control interface, drivers and passengers can choose a sound mix to create specific atmospheres covering four ‘moods’ (Relax, Energetic, Bright, and Warm).¹

The Bang & Olufsen sound system, also provides a comfortable ride thanks to the Active Road Noise Cancellation.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMFORT

FRONT PASSENGER SEAT DOOR HANDLE DIFFUSER

To keep the interior environment refreshing there is a membrane-type air diffuser subtly fitted in the passenger door handle.

2-ZONE AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING

To keep the interior comfortable in all conditions, the air conditioning system controls individual temperature for front passengers and separate air vents for the rear, and prevents outside air coming in.

PASSENGER COMFORT

DRIVER'S ERGO MOTION SEAT

The ergonomic seat system uses inbuilt air-cells to massage the driver gently. This effectively reduces tiredness and discomfort on long journeys.

FRONT RELAXATION COMFORT SEATS

The Relaxation Comfort seats recline to a supportive stress-relieving position. This feature helps the driver and front passenger to comfortably relax while charging or when the vehicle is parked.

MAXIMISING SPACE

REAR PASSENGER SEATS

Thanks to the unique electric vehicle platform, the GV60 has ample interior space. This means the rear seats can have a reclining feature whilst still usefully folding 60:40 for more carrying capacity.

SMART POWER TAILGATE

The smart power tailgate recognises the Digital Key and opens automatically. The driver can customise the opening speed and height for additional convenience. For extra security while unloading, the tailgate auto-closes when the Digital Key leaves the area.

MULTI-FOLDING LUGGAGE BOARD

Beneath the luggage area is a second "hidden" floor for your charging cables which also has space for storing small items out of view.

The face recognition sensor means you can unlock the car with a look. No more carrying your car keys when you are travelling light.

Digital Key 2 employs state-of-the-art security with the highest level of privacy protection. It is compliant with the Car Connectivity Consortium's industry standard for digital key storage, authentication and sharing.

To register Digital Key 2, simply open your Genesis Connected Services app, follow the simple registration process, and enjoy secure and easy access to your car with just your smartphone.

AUTOMATIC UNLOCK

You can unlock your Genesis automatically, without having to touch your phone to the door handle. Perfect for when your hands are full.

SMART TAILGATE

When you stand by the back of your Genesis for three seconds, Smart Tailgate will automatically open the tailgate. With Digital Key 2 loading and unloading just got a lot easier.

GET IN AND GO

With Digital Key 2 there's no need to get your phone out to use your Genesis. Your car will recognise your phone from up to a metre away, then you can open the door and start the car.

REMOTE CONTROL

Remotely lock, unlock, or start your Genesis when you're within Bluetooth range. Your Digital Key lives in your smartphone's wallet, for complete remote control.

The GV60 has the most up-to-date technology and is compatible with standard chargers, fast chargers, and super-fastchargers.

ELECTRONIC POWER CHARGING DOOR

Every detail has been considered to make the switch to electric vehicle effortless, even the electronic power charging door. The smooth-opening door reveals an eight-level battery charge indicator. The door itself can be operated manually, as well as with a smart key, Genesis Connected Services app, and AVN voice recognition.

FAST AND STANDARD CHARGING

When fast charging at 240 kW with the ultra-speed charging function, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes.¹ To optimise charging time at a normal AC public charger or wallbox at home the GV60 is charging at 11 kW.

CHARGING SYSTEM AND VEHICLE-TO-LOAD

The 400V/800V architecture enables the GV60 to be compatible with standard chargers, fast chargers, and super fast chargers.

With the GV60's Vehicle-to-Load feature it is possible to easily use 220V electric appliances outside the vehicle.

BATTERY CONDITIONING

Controlled through the infotainment system, battery conditioning technology improves battery performance for shorter charging time and increased range. When the battery temperature is low, it will preheat the battery to ensure better performance. It also adjusts the battery temperature to ensure the shortest amount of charging time required.

ELECTRONIC LIMITED-SLIP DIFFERENTIAL¹

The torque vectoring system sends the optimal amount of torque to the wheels to maximise grip when starting off or cornering. Additionally E-LSD is built for stable performance and control on slippery roads or in snowy or rainy weather.

DRIVING TECHNOLOGY

ROAD ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL¹

On long journeys, driving noise from the tyres on the road can be tiring. To overcome this, the technology creates sound waves that are out-of-phase with the road noise. This effectively cancels out the road noise, keeping the interior quieter and the driver more alert.¹

ELECTRIC ACTIVE SOUND DESIGN

To enhance the driving experience, the unique e-ASD system creates virtual engine noises. Genesis sound designers created three distinctive voices for the GV60: ‘Futuristic’ symbolizes the direction of future mobility; ‘G-Engine’ is a soft, sporty sound based on engine noises; and ‘E-Motor’ reimagines the vehicle’s motor sounds. Their volume and responsiveness can be customised to the driver's preference.

DRIVING TECHNOLOGY

REGENERATIVE BRAKING CONTROL PADDLE SHIFT

This feature enables the customer to use the so called i-Pedal to accelerate/decelerate and stop using only the accelerator pedal.

PREVIEW ELECTRONIC CONTROL SUSPENSION

For optimum passenger comfort the GV60 features Preview-ECS. This system uses information from the front camera and navigation system to recognize potential bumps and potholes, like speed bumps, then adjust the suspension accordingly.

INTEGRATED DRIVE MODE

Depending on traffic and road conditions, the driver can choose the most suitable drive mode. Options include 'Comfort' for a smooth ride, 'Sport' for better acceleration performance, or 'Eco' for more efficiency.
