FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE

PROTECTION AT TURNINGS, JUNCTIONS AND CROSSINGS

At turnings or crossings, the GV80 will automatically apply the brakes to help avoid collisions with oncoming vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians.

EVASIVE STEERING ASSIST (EVA)

While driving, if there is a risk of collision with a pedestrian, partially in the vehicle's intended path, the system automatically assists with avoidance steering.

MACHINE LEARNING

SMART CRUISE CONTROL

Using the latest AI innovations, SCC learns how you tend to drive, how you accelerate and your response time. When you use cruise control it will match your familiar driving style.

DRIVER CONTROL

NAVIGATION-BASED SMART CRUISE CONTROL

When smart cruise control is activated, the GV80 uses navigation data to see if there are any tight bends coming up. If it detects any, it automatically decelerates to a comfortable speed then re-accelerates once the corner has been passed.

HIGHWAY DRIVING ASSIST II

On the motorway, HDA-II calculates the distance to the car ahead to maintain the current stable driving status. If another car cuts in or drifts too close, HDA-II will quickly and safely help adjust your position.

REAR SAFETY ASSIST

REVERSE PARKING COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST

RCCA helps avoid collisions with oncoming vehicles on the left or right side while reversing. If there is a risk of collision RCCA provides a warning. If the risk of collision increases, the systems automatically assists with emergency braking.

REMOTE PARKING ASSIST SYSTEM

Remote Smart Parking Assist helps remotely park or exit a parking spot from outside the vehicle.

RELIABLE PROTECTION

10-AIRBAG SYSTEM

The ten airbags will help protect everyone in the GV80. This includes the innovative new front-centre airbag that helps prevent collisions between the front passengers.

A world first, road noise-cancelling innovation. By detecting road and tyre noise and then generating anti-phase sound waves through the vehicle’s speakers, the GV80 restores peace to the cabin.

Get unstuck before you know you are stuck. On mud, snow or even wet grass, all-wheel drive with electronic limited slip differentials (AWD with E-LSD) senses a slipping wheel, redistributing power almost instantly to those wheels with grip.
